We use state-of-the-art face matching. In practice, accuracy is over 95% in normal event lighting, and our internal benchmarks hit 98.4% on the standard datasets. If you appear in a photo with your face mostly visible, Picsaris will find it. Side profiles, sunglasses, and dim lighting all work in most cases.
Your selfie is processed into an encrypted mathematical signature, not stored as a viewable image. Only that signature is used to match you. You can delete your face data anytime from your profile, and we are fully GDPR compliant. We never sell your data. Full stop.
No. Anyone can scan the QR on the day of the event and sign up in 30 seconds. The web flow works on any phone. Of course, the smoother experience is having Picsaris already installed, but it's never required.
You can upgrade to a larger package at any time. Guests already in the event stay; new uploads simply continue under the upgraded plan. We'll never cut off your gallery mid-night.
Yes. Every paid package is valid for one year. Your event gallery stays live, and you can download photos at full resolution anytime during that period. Want longer storage? Premium plans include extended archive options.
Picsaris launches in Europe and the US first, with more regions coming. Anyone with the App Store of those regions can install and use it. Web access works globally.
